Here's how: Step One--Send Don an email (donkardong@hotmail.com) telling him you'd like an autographed copy. If you want a special inscription to yourself, someone you love, or someone you have ambiguous feelings about, say so. Don will do his best to comply. Make sure you include your postal address. Step Two--Don will send you the book, along with a bill (that's right, he trusts you!) for $15.00. That price includes everything--tax, license, inscription, padded envelope, cheap postage (U.S. book rate)--unless you insist on high-priced delivery or live outside the U.S. of A. In that case, the additional cost will be added to your bill. Step Three--When you receive your book, send Don a check. This will reinforce the notion that runners are basically honest. And if they're not, Don will promptly become a cynic and start requiring payment in advance. You don't want that, do you? 3)...to ask about having Don visit your club, school, fraternal organization, 50th birthday bash, bachelorette party, or whatever.
